Worcestershire Karate squad came home from their first international event with plenty to cheer about, not only was this an incredible experience that will have long lasting memories but also so much to celebrate. Taking home 9 medals- 4 Gold, 1 Silver & 4 Bronze from 10 competitors is an astounding achievement.
But the other thing that has really stood out is the fact we were a team in every sense of the word. Everyone chipped in with making this a success from the parents supporting from the stands, the coaches working tirelessly throughout, the students cheering each other on, the sportsmanship in victory or defeat, Proud does not cover it. Congratulations and well done to EVERYONE who came and we look forward to the next one!
