CLUB GRADINGS
At Wadokai Worcester, we take pride in our students' progress and achievements. That's why we hold gradings three times a year, where students can showcase skills and knowledge by performing techniques set by the association to obtain the next belt level. Gradings are a physical test that challenges students to grow in their martial arts journey.
GRADING DAYS
Gradings are held three times a year in February, June, October. Once you meet the grading requirements, you will receive an invitation to participate. Please note that the grading dates are available on our events page annually. If you miss or are unable to attend your grading day, you will need to wait for the next scheduled grading day.

GRADING REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 24 lessons between grades (Beginner to Blue Tag). Minimum of 50 lessons (Blue belt and above)
Showing the instructors in class that you a ready for the next grade
Await your grading invitation

RSVP to your grading invitation
Ensure fees have been paid prior to the day
Arrive at your allotted time slot and do your best!
DISCLAIMER: the MINIMUM number of lessons does not automatically make you/ your child eligible for grading. Should they fail the mock examination then they will not be asked to grade. If you insist on grading, please be aware that they may fail and the examination fees are non refundable
GRADING COSTS
As each grading gets harder, exam time take longer. For senior grades, there will be additional examiners and external examiners. Upon passing each grading you will receive a hand written certificate and your new belt. For Black belt upon passing you will receive a handwritten certificate, your name embroidered on your new belt which is in its own presentation box. Making this achievement just that much more special, Its certainly worth the journey!
