An exceptional day for the Worcestershire Karate Squad at today's UK International in Stourbridge! ā¤ļøš„
Our team of just 11 athletes are coming home with an incredible:
š„ 4 GOLDš„ 4 SILVERš„ 6 BRONZE
An amazing achievement ā made even more special by the fact that for at least three members of the team, this was their very FIRST competition! š
But as proud as we are of the medals, one of the highlights of today had nothing to do with results...
ā¤ļø Every single member of the squad stayed right until the very end to support their teammates.
Cheering each other on, celebrating successes, picking each other up after disappointments and showing what being part of a TEAM really means.
That's the kind of squad we're incredibly proud to be building. š„
