ASSISTANT COACH
Welcome Assistant Coaches,
Now the fun begins as you start to take classes of your own, you will start to take classes from beginners to yellow belt!

You will no longer be required to fill out a progress booklet, however performance will be monitored
​
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
​
WARM UPS/COOL DOWNS- By taking sections with confidence and with an upbeat attitude you could easily earn ROLE MODEL & POSITIVE ATTITUDE, you would also be expected to come up with some different warm up ideas of your own to keep members on their toes and engaged earning you CREATIVITY & RESOURCEFUL.

TAKING CLASSES & MAKING CORRECTIONS- Your classes should be engaging whilst still having plenty of learning content, you will be in charge of your own time management of lessons and will be responsible for your students standards.
​
SCORING- You will be required to score every student you taught on a scale of 0- very poor to 3-above belt standard, you will inform or send your scores to an Instructor. Again these scores will be monitored to ensure standards within the club.
​
CONSIDERATION- We would also expect you to take time and consideration for Team Leaders in training, giving them the time needed to make corrections and help/demonstrate.
​
MEETINGS & COURSES- Finally you will be expected to attend the coaches meetings and complete the assistant coaching course.
