I started karate at another club as my brother wanted to and I didn’t want to be missing out, especially after having to give up archery and hockey. He didn’t take to it but I kept going and soon enough I was training 5+ times a week and started competing. When I got my black belt at 14, I felt I hadn’t really earned it and the club had stopped competing so I moved clubs in 2019 and it reignited my love for karate. I hope to go to more international competitions and potentially medal at one if I can!
