KHION WAZA- BASIC TECHNIQUES

JUNZUKI-                              Step forward punch to stomach height- zenkutzudatchi stance

AYUMI ASHI GEDAN BARAI, GYAKUZUKI CHUDAN- Step forward lock block, opposite punch

SHUTO UKE-                         Knife Hand block, performed in Mahamni Neko Ashi Datchi

The following technique is to be performed in the stance Mahamni Neko Ashi Datchi- Back Stance

SOTO UKE-                           Outer Block

STAND UP TETSUI-             Stand up and hit with the side of the fist to head height

The following technique to be performed in the stance Shomen Neko Ashi Datchi- Cat stance

YOKO MAEGERI CHUDAN-  front kick to the side

KATA-

Pinan Nidan

1/2 Pinan Shodan   

The second Wado Kata consisting of 12 moves, student would be required to remember the sequence by themselves with little to no help. May have support if SEN required.

KUMITE WAZA- FIGHTING TECHNIQUES

All of the following techniques are to be performed in the stance HAMAE GAMAE- Fighting stance

KIZAMI-             Now done against a partner/opponent

GYAKUZUKI-     Opposite punch- maybe done against pads

MAWASHIGERI- Now done against a back pad

TSUGI ASHI MAWASHIGERI JODAN- Step up and round house kick to head height off the front leg

1 MINUTE KICKMASTER-  1 minute of free sparring against a self standing punch bag

KUMITE WAZA- FIGHTING TECHNIQUES

All of the following techniques are to be performed in the stance HAMAE GAMAE- Fighting stance

BOUNCING-   Student is in fighting stance and bouncing- feet wide as jigotai

KIZAMI-         Front hand jab towards chin height
