KHION WAZA- BASIC TECHNIQUES

NIDO SOTO UKE-                          Double outer block

SHUTO UKE-                                 Knife hand block

KAKATE-                                        Arching wrist block

AWASEZUKI-                                 C Punches 

SOTO UKE SWITCHES-                 Standing in a Gyaku No Tsukkomi stance performing a sideways sotouke. You switch to the other side without moving forwards to perform on the other hand.

The following techniques are to be performed in HAMAE GAMAE- Fighting stance 

SOKUTO GEDAN                            Stamp kick to knee height

SOKUTO GEDAN, MAWATTE SHUTO- Only performed once when asked to turn. 

KATA-

PINAN NIDAN

PINAN SHODAN & BUNKAI-      Kata Application against 1 or 2 opponents

PINAN SANDAN

PINAN YONDAN

PINAN GODAN

KUSHANKU

BASSAI

The seventh Wado Kata consisting of 44 moves, student would be required to remember the sequence by themselves with little to no help. May have support if SEN required.

FORWARD ROLL-                  Performed with partner assistance

SIDEWAYS FALL-                  Performed with partner assistance

KUMITE- Fighting drills & sparring

KUMITE DRILLS-  Any 2 chosen on the day

KUMITE- Sparring against opponent for 2 minutes
