KHION WAZA- BASIC TECHNIQUES

GEDAN BARAI, GYAKUZUKI JODAN-  Lower block, opposite punch to head height

SHUTO UKE-                                 Knife hand block

SHUTO UKE, GYAKUZUKI IN SHOMEN- Knife hand block followed by sitting back into cat stance with oppoiste punch

SHIKODATCHI, NIDO ZUKI-           Performed in the shikodatchi stance- X2 punches 

NAGASHIZUKI JODAN DOJO NI-  Performed in Hidari Shizenti, offline jab with a head block

NAGASHIZUKI CHUDAN DOJO NI- Performed in Hidari Shizenti, offline jab with a chudan block

The following techniques are to be performed in HAMAE GAMAE- Fighting stance 

SOKUTO JODAN                           Stamp kick to head height

USHIROGERI CHUDAN-               Spinning back kick

KATA-

PINAN YONDAN

PINAN GODAN

KUSHANKU & BUNKAI-                  Kata Application with 1 or 2 opponents

BASSAI/BASSAI DAI-                     Bassai Dai may be performed by competitive applicants

WANSHU/ EMPI-                            Empi may be performed by competitive applicants

Wanshu the Wado Kata consisting of 36 moves, student would be required to remember the sequence by themselves with little to no help. May have support if SEN required.

TRADITITONAL PAIR DEFENCES

KHION GUMITE- 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5

KUMITE GATA- 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5

KUMITE- Fighting drills & sparring

KUMITE DRILLS-  Any 4 chosen on the day

KUMITE- Sparring against opponent for 2 minutes
